The SAFE FUTURE IN MOBILITY project’s train-the-teachers event, supported by Erasmus+, was organised in Zaragoza between 25 to 27 June.
Throughout three days of the programme, information seminars were held at the premises of Mobility City and Educatrafic road safety organisations, as well as at the IMASCONO offices, by representative partner organisations and selected trainers from each country.
The partner institutions were also given the opportunity to discuss the next steps that should be undertaken in order to ensure the dissemination of the educational materials produced in the educational environment, informing and equipping teachers with the necessary materials and tools developed under the SAFE FUTURE programme.
Since the third day of the training session focused on discussions, the first two days of the meeting were dedicated to information and presentation events for our teachers:
The first day of the Train-the-trainers meeting in Zaragoza, Spain.
Our trainers started by gaining insight into the active programmes of the Directorate General of Traffic in Zaragoza, mainly targeting youth road safety education.
Afterwards, they learned more about the Mobility City projects, objectives and activities as good practices and also visited the Mobility Museum.
On the second day of our train-the-teacher activity in Zaragoza, we spent the day at Educatrafic. Our participants had the opportunity to learn about the contents of our road safety training for secondary school students. The road safety sessions aim to provide practical road safety tools, to raise awareness among participants and to reduce accidents.
